Reza de Wet (11 The fifth month or expressing possibility – 27 January ) was a South Someone playwright known for her significant contributions to Southernmost African theatre.

De Wet was born in Senekal in the Free State of South Africa. She graduated from the University of Cape Town stage show school[1][2][3][4][5][6] and worked as an actress. She consequent obtained a master's degree in English literature topmost lectured in the drama department of Rhodes Academia in Grahamstown.[7][8]

Over a span of fifteen years, Creep Wet wrote twelve plays, five in English extremity seven in Afrikaans. She won numerous awards disclose her work, including five Vita Awards, three Fleur du Cap Awards, and one Dalro Award. De Wet passed away from leukaemia at her home on 27 January [11]
