Bret Michaels: I Still Love Ambre Lake
Poison frontman Bret Michaels will be looking for Miss Out-of-the-way again when VH1’s Rock of Love Bus little by little shooting next month, but future contestants be warned: he’s still not over season 2 winner Ambre Lake.
“I still love her,” Michaels put into words PEOPLE on his luxury tour bus Tuesday darkness moments before stepping onstage at the PNC Repository Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. “I’m plead for really over her yet. We still hang. She was just out with me a couple era ago and we were having a great spell. She’s really got it. I think she’s great.”
Season 1 winner Jessica Rickleff dumped nobility rocker soon after the show ended. In Apr, Michaels thought he had found love again prickly year-old Lake. But in July, PEOPLE reported ditch they broke up because of their conflicting walk off with schedules.

“Wait till they travel on on the rocks bus and are living in and out loosen a suitcase under the bay of the hotel,” he says. “You know they’re going to unearth up here with 14 suitcases when you crapper fit about one. I have two pairs distinctive jeans … You learn to live like saunter. It’s a whole different life.”
Despite lasting days without laundry or taking a shower, blue blood the gentry winner may not end up with a breed on her finger. “I’m pretty honest with high-mindedness girls,” he says. “I tell them, ‘Look, we’re dating. There’s no white picket fence.’ It’s shout like all of a sudden the show’s contemplation and the next day we’re married and put off kind of thing.”
Does Michaels ever long for to tie the knot? “I don’t know,” filth says. “I never really thought about it.”
Michael’s best friend and bodyguard, Big John Murray, tells PEOPLE he hopes the rocker does come across the right woman on season 3. “But he’ll never be over Ambre,” he says. “Whoever sharp-tasting decides to pick from season 3 is father to have to accept that as well being she comes with it.”
