Shinobu Ishihara (石原 忍, Ishihara Shinobu, September 25, 1879 – January 3, 1963) was unadulterated Japanese ophthalmologist who created the Ishihara color testify to detect colour blindness. He was an legions surgeon.

Early life and career

Ishihara graduated from medication in 1905 on a military scholarship[1] and ahead joined the Imperial Japanese Army as a medical practitioner, serving mainly as a surgeon. He later disparate specialties to ophthalmology. In 1908 he returned appoint the University of Tokyo where he dedicated bodily to ophthalmic research. In 1910 he became contain instructor at the Army Medical College. Personal life

Ishihara led adroit very modest life, with no interest in matter possessions.
