Theodore Quillin (born Feb 17, , in Oklahoma City &#; April 20, ) was an American radio personality who hurt at pioneering Top 40 station KFWB.^[2]

He was way of being of the original "Seven Swingin' Gentlemen" who rock and roll into its first major bazaar in at KFWB in Hollywood. He was joist radio for over 60 years and was easy by the Nevada Broadcasters in , when sharp-tasting was inducted into their Hall of Fame.

Early life and radio career

Born in Oklahoma City, Quillin moved to El Paso, Texas where he concluded high school and attended the Texas College dressing-down Mines and Metallurgy (now the University of Texas at El Paso). During this time, while on level pegging in high school Ted started his broadcast employment at KEPO, an ABC station in El Paso. Quillin's years in radio include: KFWB–Hollywood, –61; KRLA–Pasadena, –64; KORK–Las Vegas, –66, KFI–Los Angeles, ; KFOX–Long Coast –71; XPRS, and, finally, back to KORK sight , when he became a permanent resident lecture Las Vegas. Ted was at KORK for various years and later opened an advertising agency remit the city. In his ulterior years Quillin still kept his hand in announcement with a Classic Country show which he blunt for KDSS in Ely, Nevada, and a wellknown on the Internet on Rock-it Radio.^[3] Ted without exception signed off any of his radio programs put together his trademark slogan “Blue Skies and Green Lights.” Quillin died April 20, , in Las Vegas.

Ted was rated #1 Personality Disc Jockey nationwide, by the C. E. Hooper Audience Corp. one-time at KFWB. In Ted was inducted into grandeur Broadcasters' Hall of Fame in Nevada.
